This day is designed to make it easy for you to publish and share your students work with a wider audience.

We will be using a number of different tools that allow us to publish student work. These tools can be utilised in a variety of ways but all allow you and your students to easily publish work to the world wide web.

For each of the publishing tools below you will find a page and movie detailing how to set up an account and get started.

SlideShare is the YouTube of presentations. Its is a tool to enable the sharing of student presentations online

Teachertube= YouTube for teachers, a piece of social software that empowers teachers to publish movies for all to see.

Animoto can be used to create powerful multimedia quickly and easily. It can be used with k-12 classes and helps to promote an understanding of visual literacy

Picasa Web Albums will allow you to publish your photos online. It can be a wonderful way to “open” your school to the community.

YouTube The biggest movie publishing site. Maybe you could create a YouTube Channel where parents, teachers and students can visit to view the movies created by students of the school.

Posterous Sometimes in a classroom or even in a staffroom the easiest way is the best. Posterous has to be one of the easiest ways to publish online, if you can send an email you can create a Posterous blog!!
